      • Do they have pets: are they cat people, dog people, or neither?
      • What stage of life are they in: are they raising children, retired, getting ready for college?
  3. Create a website and social media pages for your business
    • If setting up on EVERY social platform is overwhelming, just start with the one you know the best and grow from there. You don’t have to become an expert at everything overnight.
    • Etsy and Shopify are great places to start selling and can be set up in as little as one day
  4. Start blogging and creating content that’s helpful and relevant to your target audience
    • Depending on the business you want to build, a blog may not be totally necessary to have before you launch your business, but it is a great way to get found when your target customer is searching for you on the web, and it’s a lot cheaper than paying for advertising!
